What is Floating?

Floating or Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy R.E.S.T consists of reducing approximately 90% of external stimuli. Such conditions are fulfilled by the manufactured capsules and cabins. During a session, deep silence, tranquillity, blissful warmth and a state close to levitation (thanks to weightless floating in a highly concentrated Epsom salt solution), produce sensations similar to those experienced by a baby in the womb. Due to the absence of any stimuli affecting the senses of hearing and sight, touch or smell, the brain relaxes and reaches a state of deep meditation (theta waves). The body and mind rest and regenerate 4-5 times faster than during sleep. The body produces painkillers and so-called happiness hormones, the stress hormone cortisol is removed. Floating sessions have positive effects on the psyche, body, skin, muscles, joints and spine.
